# Engineering im Wandel der Zeit

Seit Jahrhunderten sucht der Mensch nach Wegen, Technik **klar und nachvollziehbar** zu beschreiben.\
Denn nur mit einer **Sprache** lassen sich Ideen, Konstruktionen und Funktionen weltweit teilen.

* In der Mechanik ist es die **technische Zeichnung**, die Maße, Formen und Toleranzen eindeutig macht.
* In der Elektrotechnik ist es der **Schaltplan**, der elektrische Verbindungen und Funktionen beschreibt.
* In der Fertigung ist es der **G-Code**, der Bewegungen und Bearbeitungen standardisiert steuert.

Doch in der **Logik von Maschinen** klafft seit 1968 eine Lücke: Mit der Erfindung der SPS ging die Klarheit der Schaltplan-Logik verloren.

Dieses Dokument zeichnet die **Historie der technischen Sprachen** nach, zeigt die Übergänge und verdeutlicht, wie **Selmo** diese Lücke wieder schließt.
