Zones that have two opposite feedbacks – e.g. cylinder front/back – are grouped together.
The PairCheck checks whether both feedbacks are TRUE at the same time.
That would be physically impossible.
In this case the system automatically generates an interlock.
This ensures safety without additional programming.
MXIC – interlock in manual operation
In manual operation, operators should not be able to perform unsafe movements.
Therefore Selmo links manual buttons with the MXIC logic.
Example: The button “Extend cylinder 1” is only active when cylinder 2 is retracted.
If that is not the case, the MXIC blocks the signal and displays the message in the HMI:
“Movement blocked – Zone 2 not in safe position.”
Both functions – PairCheck and MXIC – are part of the standard, not an additional option.
