3.8 Summary

The advanced standard functions of Selmo are not add-ons, but core components of the system. They translate decades of experience into rules that are applied automatically:

  • PairCheck guarantees consistency of conflicting signals.

  • MXIC regulates safe manual operation.

  • Monitoring provides diagnostic information.

In combination with the basic operators S and I a system emerges that operates deterministically, transparently and safely – without the user having to write additional code.


In the next chapter 4 we describe the PTF principle (Process – Technology – Function). There it is explained how the structure of a SEQ automatically arises from process and technology analysis – and how to build a complete, verifiable machine model from these three steps.
