6.3 Interlock – fault detection in the standard

Each zone automatically has an interlock function. When a monitored condition is violated, it sets the operator I. This immediately creates an interlock:

  • The switching mechanism withdraws the automatic release (AR = 0).

  • The sequence is stopped.

  • A red message with the zone text appears in the HMI.

The user does not have to program anything – they only describe what must be safe, and Selmo ensures that this condition is constantly checked.
