8.3 The three pillars of the new thinking

Selmo is based on three principles that run through the entire system:

  1. Determinism – there is always only one active state and unambiguous transitions.

  2. Transparency – every action, every condition and every feedback are visible.

  3. Causality – every effect has a cause; nothing happens by chance.

These three pillars make behavior predictable — and therefore controllable.
