8.6 From engineering to communication

Selmo is more than an engineering method. It is a communication standard. It allows different disciplines – mechanics, electrical, software, quality assurance – to speak the same language.

A state diagram or a bit-control table is universally understandable. This facilitates collaboration, prevents misunderstandings, and significantly reduces project times. It replaces individual “programming handwriting” with an objective, verifiable model.
