2.2 Zone definition

Zones form the link between logic and real signals.

Zone type	Description
Input	A sensor, switch or input
Output	An actuator or output (e.g. valve, lamp)
In-Out	Combined output with feedback
Mem	Logical marker zone – stores process information

Each zone receives:

• an HMI text (for operator display)

• an address (for IO mapping)

• Behavior per state (0, S, i)
